When you are arrive at our office you will be greeted with a friendly smile by the helpful reception staff. From here one of our 4 on-site estimators will meet with you and ascertain the accident details and conduct a quotation inspection. While you wait (5-10 minutes) for this to be completed you have full access to our customer lounge with tea/coffee facilities. If you haven’t lodged your claim with your insurance company yet, you are welcome to use our claim lodgement program in which one of our trained staff member can sit with you and guide you through the processes. We understand that it can be a confusing and stressful time when having an accident and we take pride in supporting you through the entire claim process.
Once your repairs are authorised to proceed, you will be contacted within 24 hours to arrange a convenient time to repair your vehicle. During this time if you have Hire Car on your claim we can organise the booking of a vehicle for you. When you bring your vehicle in for repairs we are more than happy to offer a lift home or to anywhere within the Wangaratta area including collecting your hire vehicle. At this time we can also organise a taxi if required.
On completion of the repairs to your vehicle we also offer a pick-up service within the Wangaratta area, or organising a taxi service for your collection. We understand that living without your vehicle can be problematic and we value being able to provide assistance where possible.
Our workshop has been specially designed with a ‘Drive Through’ floor plan to maximise time efficiency and to allow quick and easy work flow. Vehicles enter the workshop to the panel beater preparation bay (PB) from strip and repairs. Then they are driven to one of the paint PB, located directly in front of one of the 3 Lowbake ovens.
The paint team is armed with the latest technologies to assist them in colour matching, preparation, and application that the market has to offer. We are equipped with an advanced PPG computer colour matching system that includes a portable paint spectrometer for identify the best possible combination of tinters to assist in a fast colour matching process. We use PPG Envirobase waterborne paints which are less toxic, have lower emissions, less waste product, and use no solvents. We also have the latest advanced PPG UV primer and drying system, the new PPG clear coats low volume system, and the new Rapid Air Dry System (RADS) by Lowbake. RADS works by drawing filtered air from inside the oven and discharging it through a series of nozzles under high pressure to create the jets of air ideal for curing waterborne paints. This means the drying time is brought down to a minimum, which allows us to maximise our time efficiency and increase work turnover.
Once painted the vehicle is then driven to the fitment bays, where our panel technicians take pride in to detail your vehicle and assuring it is returned to perfect condition. Once completed it moves forward to the detailing department directly beside the office area. Here your vehicle is detailed (internally and externally) before moving to the last bay for our 50 point quality check system to be conducted. Only once the vehicle has passed this system, it moves to the front of the workshop for you to be contacted for collection.
